What is Coachella Festival?
The Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, which is situated in the Coachella Valley of the Inland Empire in the Colorado Desert, hosts the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, also known as Coachella or the Coachella Festival, every year. It is run by Goldenvoice, an affiliate of AEG Live, and was co-founded in 1999 by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen. How does this Festival work?
The inaugural weekend of the festival is slated to commence on April 14th and culminate on April 16th, followed by the second weekend, which will span from April 21st to April 23rd. The event will once again be hosted at the esteemed Empire Polo Ground located in Indio, California, approximately 2.5 hours’ drive away from the city of Los Angeles, in keeping with the tradition of preceding years.
The opening evenings of Coachella, scheduled for April 14 and 21, will feature Bad Bunny as the headlining act, supported by a star-studded lineup comprising Gorillaz, Burna Boy, Kaytranada, the Chemical Brothers, and Becky G. Day Two of the festival, on April 15 and 22, promises to showcase an impressive array of talent, including Rosalia, boygenius, Charlie XCX, and the headlining sensation Blackpink. The final day of the festival, Day Three, will be headlined by the acclaimed Frank Ocean and boasts a lineup featuring the likes of Bjork, Kali Uchis, Jai Paul, and Dominic Fike. Regarding timing, Coachella’s website indicates that the gates will open each day at around noon, with the venue closing at 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and 12 a.m. on Sunday evenings.
